The Joyce Young Collection at Gretna Green opened its doors opposite the World Famous Old Blacksmiths Shop this week.  The new bridal studio is a joint venture between award winning wedding dress designer, Joyce Young and Gretna Green Group, owners of the Blacksmiths Shop.The studio adds to the variety of wedding services offered by Gretna Green Group.  Operations Director, Brian Douglas has been making preparations for the opening: “It is our objective to offer the bride and groom everything they need for their perfect day and the one ingredient missing was a wedding dress retailer.  Joyce’s Tartan Spirit collection is available within our retail outlets and very popular with visitors.  It seemed natural to introduce her wedding collections too.  Joyce is a highly acclaimed wedding dress designer and with that status it seemed a perfect match to introduce her to this most romantic of wedding venues.”  Joyce is very excited about her latest venture and says: “The location and setting of Gretna Green is ideal for future brides to choose their dresses, whether they are marrying in Gretna Green or elsewhere.  It is easily accessible from the South of Scotland, Northumbria, Cumbria and Cheshire and makes a great day out for girls from further afield.” The new bridal studio will be offering lots of choice for brides of all sizes and ages and will feature a special collection of dresses designed exclusively for Gretna Green.  There will also be a wide selection of wedding accessories from shoes to ring cushions.
